Angel Reese is trying to set the record straight. Her financial situation has been in the news lately, and she refuted claims that her net worth is estimated to be $2 million.
At one point during an appearance at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, the Chicago Sky forward's financial performance in the months since joining the WNBA was mentioned. When Reese's estimated net worth came up during the conversation, the basketball star quickly hit back.
Reese declined to give specific numbers about her net worth, but said the $2 million figure was “a long way off,” the newspaper reported. sports illustrated.

“Yes,” Reese replied.
“Far? Near?” Morman followed.
“It's crazy,” the 22-year-old said.
Ms. Reese shared some of her financial gains.
“I will be able to retire my mother soon. I will be able to pay off the mortgage. My family, everyone is taking care of me…One thing about me is that I have a really good circle around me. I think that's really important,” she said. .

In October, Reese spoke up. Talking about her personal finances, she revealed that she doesn't rely solely on her WNBA salary.

“I want you all to know that the WNBA doesn't pay my bills at all.” Reese said at that time. “I literally don't think it even pays one of my bills.”
According to Spotrac data, Reese earned approximately $73,439 during his rookie season with the Chicago Sky.

Reese earned several name, image and likeness (NIL) contracts as he rose to stardom at LSU. Reese ended up being one of the highest-paid NIL athletes in the United States.
Many of these deals continue to yield financial benefits. Earlier this year, Reese launched the “Unapologetically Angel” podcast. She also has a sponsorship deal with Hershey's for their “Reese's Pieces” merchandise collection.

Additionally, Reese has a shoe deal with Reebok and has agreed to compete in the inaugural Unrivaled 3-on-3 Basketball League.
The professional women's league was co-founded by WNBA stars Brianna Stewart and Napheesa Collier and will debut in January. Players participating in the new league are expected to earn the highest average annual salary in the history of the women's professional sports league.
