‘Woe Is Us’ if We Selfishly Elect Trump Again

Appearing on MSNBC's “The Beat” on Tuesday, Geraldo Rivera said “woe is us if we're so selfish and self-centered” for electing former President Donald Trump. Ta.

Rivera said: You've become a ruthless pragmatist, Ari. That's all I can think of it. There's not only loyalty to Trump, but also loyalty to the party and the power that comes with being the party in power. So I understand that there are practical aspects at play. But what I want people to realize is that this is a do-it-all, say-it-all guy. It's very, very dangerous. ”

He added: “It is imperative that people with names like mine understand that this man is saying that we are staining the blood of our nation. says it's in our genes to commit murder. This is a man who has promised to mass deport our friends and relatives if he ever regains the White House.”

Rivera added: “I think this is really a matter of self-interest in terms of the broader phenomenon that's going on here. Yes, he defied the Constitution, but his tax policy It's going to be a benefit to me. When I die, there's going to be capital gains tax at this rate, which is going to be my benefit. So I can hold my nose and vote for him.”

He concluded: “There's a sense of others that he's developed. And you know, I think we always say this is the most important election of our lives, but in this case, I really believe that.” I believe that if Donald Trump takes back the White House, anything can happen. Woe to us if we suspend our principles to support him again.”
