Wolf Blitzer roasted for outdated TV setup after celebrating Bills win

If it ain't broke, Wolf Blitzer won't replace it.

The veteran CNN anchor celebrated the Buffalo Bills' wild-card victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday: Post to X Thumbs up and one index finger for a final score of 31-7.

But the showoff doesn't extend to his outdated TV setup, and people online are letting Blitzer have it.

“Five remotes, cable box, DVD, VCR, 480p. What a world,” one X user wrote about his antiquated setup.

“Wolf said, 'I won't buy a new set until the Bills get back to the Super Bowl,'” another wrote.

“I doubt we'll see plugged-in VCRs in 2025,” a third voice can be heard saying.

“I love the two VCRs. You can rewind while watching something else. A veteran move,” said a fourth.

In addition to the technology, or lack thereof, I also had a love affair with the wooden casing.

“Is that a home entertainment center or a gateway to Narnia?” one user wrote.

Wolf's composition had its supporters, although they were few and far between.

“Why do I feel so relieved when I see this TV set up? It definitely brings me back to my childhood!'' I wrote one.

“I've never been a big fan, but after seeing your home set up, I might have to reconsider that. Respect,” another commented.

“We also have old technology. Some of us are happy with what we have. The money we save compounds pretty well,” a third person wrote.

Wolf, a lifelong Bills fan and University of Buffalo alumnus, did not respond to any of the comments, instead responding to one accusing him of taking a TV out of a storage locker on the first episode of “Storage Wars” 15 years ago. didn't react either. ”

Buffalo beat Denver in the Wild Card round thanks to a typically great performance from signal-caller Josh Allen. Josh Allen completed 20 of 26 pass attempts for 272 yards and two touchdowns.

Blitzer's next chance to see Allen and company at work will be Sunday when the Bills host the Baltimore Ravens for a trip to the AFC Championship Game.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
