Woman arrested at Disneyland for failing to show ID: video

A woman wearing Minnie Mouse ears was arrested by police at Disneyland on Tuesday and yelled expletives at them after she refused to show officers her identification, police said.

According to Anaheim Police, the unidentified woman, who had two young children with her, was detained and accused of obstructing a police officer and refusing to provide identification at Disney's California Adventure.

Police were called after the woman was uncooperative with Disneyland Resort security, and a Disneyland representative told local news station KTLA that she had attempted to bring children into the park without paying admission.

Police said the woman is accused of trying to enter the park without purchasing a ticket at least four times over the past two months. The Orange County Register reported.She was arrested and later released with a summons, according to Anaheim police.

A video of the arrest posted to TikTok shows two officers escorting a woman and her crying children from the park while two other officers follow behind them, one of them pushing a stroller.

“You're hurting me,” the suspect can be heard yelling, as bewildered onlookers look on near Paradise Gardens' Jumpin' Jellyfish ride in the TikTok video, which has been viewed more than nine million times.

At Disneyland, children under the age of 3 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Guests age 3 and older must have a valid theme park admission ticket and a reservation for the same park on the same day, according to the Disneyland website.

A two-day ticket to one Disneyland park costs $310 per adult and $290 per child over the age of 3. Park Hopper passes can be purchased for an additional $65 per person.
