The woman is safe after slightly avoiding suspicion of the invitation when she warns the bystanders at a gas station in Utah that she is in trouble.
The Iron County Sheriff's Office confirmed with Fox 13 Utah that 53-year-old Epigmenio Bustilos Marquez was said to have been arrested Saturday after he attempted to lure the woman.
On March 8, lawmakers were sent to Cedar Band Travel Plaza, about seven miles southwest of Cedar City, to report the invitation.

According to court documents obtained by the outlet, the witness told investigators he gave her a handwritten note advising the woman that she was in trouble.
The report said witnesses saw the victim enter a white Chevrolet equinox on a Nevada license plate.
Deputies then placed traffic stops after catching the vehicle and reported the female victim. The female victim was not identified without acting normally when she spoke to her and asked her to leave the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Marquez, provided identification from Durango, Mexico, with an incorrect name and date of birth.

Investigators searched Marquez's wallet and found another Mexican ID card with his actual name and date of birth. However, even after the identification was shown, Marquez continued to deny that it was his true identity, the outlet reported.
The victim told the officer that she and Marquez had been in a relationship for 25 years. However, she said she noticed recent changes in Marquez's behavior and realized he was unstable, the report read.
The victim then tells the police that he asked Marquez to ask him to work that morning, but when he went to pick her up, he begins to accuse her of the affair in the relationship.
Instead of bringing the victim to work, Marquez allegedly threatened to take her to Salt Lake City or Denver.

Marquez is said to have threatened the victim and when she says she wants to leave the vehicle because of the speed she was traveling, she tells her that she will die if she tries to leave the vehicle.
Marquez then called and couldn't call anyone, so at one point he pushed the victim into his mouth.
