A woman in Chicago was filmed, allegedly using dog feces to vandalize a Trump-themed Cybertruck.
John Evans, visiting from Savannah, Georgia, parked his Tesla in Chicago’s Northalstead neighborhood for a meeting on Wednesday.
When he returned, he discovered his truck, wrapped in an American flag, had Donald Trump’s signature scrawled in feces on the tailgate.
“It’s strange that someone would feel so compelled to ruin someone else’s day like this,” Evans told a local news outlet. “Now the tables have turned.”
According to Evans, the Cybertruck’s cameras recorded a woman calmly smearing the mess across the vehicle.
“The truck features a representation of Trump’s signature,” he added. “Maybe it aggravated someone enough to do this to my car.”
Evans shared a still from the video on a social media platform, where users identified the suspect as Dorothy Owen, co-owner of a local dog daycare. This post quickly gained traction, getting over 75,000 likes.
Soon after, Owen’s business’s social media page posted a commentary on the situation, seemingly making light of the vandalism.
“Honestly, it could just be who’s sh-tattoo or saggy t-ts,” the post read, along with hashtags that expressed negative sentiments towards Trump.
As of now, authorities have yet to confirm her identity, and no charges have been filed against Owen.
Since the incident, the daycare has begun receiving negative reviews online.
“I believe people want accountability for such actions,” Evans remarked.
Evans has chosen not to file a police report, stating that public backlash should suffice as punishment, as law enforcement has more severe matters to address.
“As Americans, we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard,” he expressed. “Acts like this only make things worse.”
Evans was unavailable for further comment, and Owen has not responded to inquiries.
