Woman goes ballistic while being arrested on Spirit plane

Video has gone viral showing the moment an unidentified woman was arrested on a Spirit Airlines flight after an over-the-top meltdown that rivaled Jim Carrey’s acrobat act in “The Mask.”

A video posted to TikTok on March 23 shows several Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers confronting the suspect as the plane was parked on the tarmac before takeoff.

It is unclear why the police were called to arrest her, but as soon as the footage begins, it quickly becomes clear that the unidentified woman is acting erratically.

The bug-eyed suspect, wearing a sleeveless sweater, a gold necklace and a large Afro, was seen resisting officers’ attempts to handcuff him.

“Now I can go out on my own. Why are you doing this…why are you acting like I’m a scoundrel?” she begged.

“Please let this go. Are you free to do that? All I care about is freedom!” she declared.

Two officers were seen handcuffing her, and another passenger filmed the scene.

When a police officer told her she was under arrest, she replied: I’ve been there before. ”

She then turned around and looked directly into the passenger’s cell phone camera, which was live streaming the interaction.

At this point in the clip, the drama reaches a climax as the woman tries to stand up and violently contorts her face.

“I’ve been there before. This–my elbow hurts, my wrist hurts,” she cried, rocking back and forth.

“You’re hurting me, Sheriff! You’re hurting me, Sheriff,” she yelled, then screamed five times in a row.

“I can’t breathe. Why are you touching my feet?” she repeatedly demanded, and the officers appeared to grin as laughter erupted in the cabin in a cartoonish performance.

As she repeatedly screams “I can’t breathe,” a reference to George Floyd’s dying words, a flight attendant can be heard over the intercom telling everyone they need to be “taken off the plane,” and a loud collective groan is heard. It went up.

Commenters took submissions to speculate on what sparked the riot.

“This is the demon that possessed her happening in front of everyone,” one person wrote.

“How did she get through airport security??” asked another.

“This is really sad. I hope she finds some help and it comforts her,” another wrote.

Las Vegas police did not immediately respond to a request for comment on why the woman was arrested, and the low-cost airline could not be reached.
