Woman Plowed Car into Boyfriend on Way to Couple’s Therapy

A woman is accused of crashing her car into her boyfriend after an argument on her way to couples counseling, police said.

Veronica Loreen Gast, 30, was on her way to a therapy session in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, on Saturday when she got into an argument with her boyfriend. Fergus Now Reported.

“The couple had already been fighting throughout the day, but the boyfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed, suddenly said he didn’t think their relationship was working out anymore, police said.” According to To New York Post.

An angry Gast allegedly stopped her car in the middle of traffic and demanded her boyfriend get out of the car.

Police said Gast glared at the boyfriend and then put the car “full throttle” in an attempt to hit him as he walked in front of the car onto the sidewalk.

“The victim told police he was thrown onto the windshield and hood of his vehicle, suffering injuries to his back and a cut to his right elbow,” according to the report.

Gast later admitted to police that she had hit her boyfriend with her car but claimed she had been emotional and not been paying attention and had accidentally run him over.
