Turning Point USA’s Women’s Leadership Summit Kicks Off in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS) organized by Turning Point USA launched on Friday in the Alamo City, drawing over 2,500 attendees. The focus of the weekend will be on health, purpose, and faith.
Breitbart Texas reported a buzz of excitement as the summit commenced at the San Antonio Marriott River Center, located along the iconic downtown Riverwalk. By noon, young women started registering and made their way into a conference space adorned with signs representing the acronym HER, highlighting this year’s summit theme: “Holistic,” “Empowered,” and “Relief.”
Women of various ages from all over the country are set to hear keynote addresses and engage in breakout sessions designed to offer practical advice on health, leadership, and living with courage, clarity, and faith.
Erica Kirk, CEO of Turning Point, took the stage Friday afternoon, joining a lineup of speakers that includes notable figures like Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Riley Gaines, Allie Beth Stuckey, Savannah Chrisley, Gracie Hunt, and Savannah Hernandez.
Addressing a packed audience after 5:30 p.m., Kirk paid homage to her late husband, Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, who was tragically killed during a lecture in September 2025. She reflected on the founding of the organization, stating, “A few years ago, it was the day my husband decided to start Turning Point USA.”
Kirk emphasized the importance of her husband’s choice to start the organization, expressing gratitude that he pursued his heartfelt mission rather than conforming to societal expectations for an 18-year-old. She highlighted his aspiration to connect with America’s youth and foster the traditional values he cherished.
Delivering an inspiring message to attendees, Kirk remarked, “As women, we are wired to have obligations greater than ourselves. It’s in our DNA. I feel it every day, and I know you do too. So when you’re relentlessly focused on what you can get and what you can contribute, it’s almost impossible, almost impossible, to find fulfillment in this world.”
She encouraged participants to contemplate their personal values throughout the summit, advising them, “This weekend, whenever you have time, please put pen to paper. Don’t write on your phone. Pray seriously about this. Write down what your virtues are. Write it down. Maybe it’s the love of truth, or honesty, or courage. But whatever it is, write it down. Invest in them.”
The Women’s Leadership Summit will wrap up on Sunday.
