The 104-year-old World War II veteran from Ohio hopes to have a very special guest at his upcoming birthday party.
Denver Moore, who turned 104 on May 15th, invited President Donald Trump to attend a birthday party.
“I will turn 104 in May and invite you to a birthday party on the 17th,” Moore said in a video shared with Tiktok last month.
In the clip, which was seen more than 700,000 times in 10 days, Moore shines brightly, expressing his desire to meet Trump. He was wearing a red “Maga” hat.
He told the President, “I could vote for you again. I hope I can vote for you a little more.”
Alison Dudley, a friend of Moore's family, filmed and uploaded the veteran's message to a social media platform. Towards the end of the clip, she made her pitch for Trump, saying, “He is the World War II Veteran – the Army Air Corps.
Moore lives in the Danbury Senior Living Facilities in the town of Massilon, just south of Cleveland.
“I really enjoy Denver as one of the people who live here and I love hearing him,” Kelly Beckler, senior living executive director at Danbury, told local outlet Canton Repository.
She added, “We've called to facilities that want to send him cards and various things,” as his birthday wishes have gained traction on social media.
Moore grew up on a farm in Noble County, Ohio, and worked for Hercules Engine Co. before he began service in 1942. After the war, he became a US postal service worker and raised his family.
His son, Rich, told News5 Cleveland he hopes the veteran's birthday wish will come true. “If this makes him happy then it's great. Whatever that is.”
Moore's wishes were inspired by his deep patriotism. “It's a great country,” he said. “I'm glad that God gave us America.”
Moore spoke of the video's success, telling the repository, “In my long life, I never dreamed of it happening.”
“They have parades, firetrucks, and (and) police cars. …It ends at the (veterans matter) club's Canal Fulton. According to that video, there are thousands of people who know everything about it,” he added to the outlet.
The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
