Titan Championship Wrestling Returns to Spotswood, New Jersey

Independent professional wrestling stands out as a unique form of entertainment where fans can immerse themselves in exciting events, meet emerging stars, and generally have a good time—all while keeping their wallets intact. Usually, ticket prices are pretty affordable, and wrestling promotions aim to offer family-friendly shows, which often leave attendees with happy memories.

That’s what it’s really all about, right?

Titan Championship Wrestling, based in New Jersey, has been successfully hosting events for several years now. On Saturday, they’re set to revitalize the wrestling scene in Spotswood, New Jersey—a town that hasn’t seen such entertainment in nearly 11 years. The upcoming show, titled “Resurrection,” will feature several prominent figures from the wrestling world.

“This is a great opportunity for Spotswood locals and wrestling enthusiasts in general,” Charles DeLutri, co-promoter of Titan Championship Wrestling, shared in a recent conversation. “Given that wrestling hasn’t been in the area for quite some time, we’re thrilled to bring not just a fantastic event, but a taste of what Titan Championship Wrestling is all about.”

He went on to explain that they offer a mix of entertainment styles—comedy, strong style wrestling, and more—ensuring a rounded experience suitable for families.

Among the notable names scheduled to appear are Jay Tha Gawd, a former WWE star, and Joey Janela, along with Michael Fain, who currently holds the TCW heavyweight title.

DeLutri emphasized his longstanding relationship with Janela, stating they’ve collaborated on various projects throughout their careers. Jay Tha Gawd has also been gaining traction in the independent circuit recently.

As for Fain, DeLutri believes he’s a rising star worth noticing. “Michael Fain stands out as one of the most promising talents in our league,” he mentioned. “He’s been with Titan Championship Wrestling since nearly the beginning, and his journey, especially after capturing the title, has led him to form a faction known as TBA, where he proudly claims the title of king of the titans.”

The event is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET at the Spotswood Columbian Club, and folks are undoubtedly looking forward to what promises to be an exciting night.
