WWE Referee Vicky D’Errico Shines at NXT Championship
On Sunday night, WWE referee Vicky D’Errico made her mark on a larger wrestling stage as she officiated the NXT women’s championship match featuring Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace at Evolution. It was quite the moment!
D’Errico, who is among the female crew highlighted in all-women premium live events, has carved out a niche in NXT, alongside other notable referees like Jessika Carr and Daphne Lashaunn, who have also gained recognition on the WWE main roster.
Her appearance quickly garnered attention on social media. It’s pretty interesting how fast things can go viral these days. D’Errico began her journey by trying out in Philadelphia and made her official debut at an NXT live event in November 2024.
Originally from Rhode Island, she’s not just a referee; she was also a professional boxer, having fought in several tough N’Rowdy events organized by Barstool Sports. Now, she enjoys the honor of presiding over some of the most significant matches in WWE history.
During the high-stakes matchup between Jayne and Grace, Grace, initially believing she had a partner, seemed to have the advantage. However, after Blake Monroe took out all of Jayne’s allies at ringside, it allowed Jayne to seize her moment and pull off a stunning victory.
All four competitors are set to return to NXT this Tuesday night. It’s always exciting to see how things unfold in the wrestling world.
