Charlotte Flair Makes an Entrance at Panthers Game

WWE superstar Charlotte Flair was in the spotlight before the Carolina Panthers’ Week 4 face-off with the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.

With fans cheering, Flair emerged from the tunnel at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. She showcased her father’s famous strut, shouted a spirited “Woo!” to the crowd, and struck the Panthers’ drum with a hammer.

Born in Charlotte, Flair attended high school there, where she made a name for herself as a two-time state champion in volleyball and team captain. She began her WWE training in 2012, making her NXT debut a year later.

In an interview with “The Ringer Wrestling Show” last year, she shared that her ring name, Charlotte, was likely influenced by her and her father, Ric Flair’s roots. She had suggested the name Elizabeth Reid to honor the legendary valet Miss Elizabeth, who she admired.

Years down the line, Charlotte Flair has established herself as a prominent name in the wrestling world. Along with her 14 world titles, she has held titles as a two-time NXT women’s champion and two-time tag team champion, and even won the women’s Royal Rumble match twice. She’s recognized as the fourth women’s Grand Slam champion and the fifth women’s Triple Crown champion.

The name “Flair” has become iconic, bridging the worlds of professional wrestling and mainstream sports, and Charlotte has carved out a significant place for herself in her career.

With her upbeat energy entering the stadium, Panthers fans were likely hoping it would inspire their team to victory that night.
