Yale University announcement On Wednesday, anti-Israel student groups will lose their rights as registered student organisations over “anti-Semitic” actions in protests Tuesday evening.

Yalies4 – Palestine group met with university officials and had been warned of violating their rules of conduct, but the protest led to staff taking action.

The investigation into the demonstration is ongoing and could result in additional penalties, including probation, suspension and expulsion.

Without official student group registration, the group will not be able to reserve Yale spaces, participate in student activity bazaars, or request Yale funds.

“Yalies4-Palestine today notified Yalies4Palestine that the university has withdrawn its status as a registered student organization because Yales Dean’s office is seriously violating the rules that holds all registered student organizations,” the statement reads.

The university went on to say that investigations into the demonstrations are ongoing and could result in additional penalties, including probation, suspension and expulsion.

Yalies4 – A statement from Palestine Group condemned the Cave department in response to requests from President Donald Trump.

“Several peer institutions, including Harvard University and Columbia, were stripped of federal funds from the Trump administration shortly after halting student organizations protesting Gaza’s genocide,” the statement reads. “Attacking students and alienating members of the community didn’t save Harvard or Columbia. It doesn’t save Yale.”
