It looks like a bright future for Josh Lucas and Brianna Ruffalo.
The 54-year-old “Yellowstone” star and the 34-year-old Los Angeles meteorologist recently got married in Vatican City.
“I feel incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together at the heart of the Catholic Church,” Ruffalo shared on Instagram, reflecting on the special occasion.
She accompanied her heartfelt post with a beautiful black-and-white photo of them sharing a kiss as they exited the chapel.
Lucas chimed in the comments, expressing, “I love you! Truly one of the best days of my life. I’m so grateful.”
Their wedding was a private affair in Italy. Lucas looked dapper in a classic black tux, whereas Ruffalo chose a stunning lace strapless gown.
In another Instagram post, the bride revealed a close-up shot of her and Lucas on their wedding day.
She expressed her gratitude toward everyone who made their day possible, highlighting her father’s role at the parish where she grew up, and thanking Sister Angelica along with other sisters from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
“Without a fantastic wedding planning team coordinating with the Vatican, this day wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you for making it so beautiful and effortless,” she added.
Lucas also posted about their big day, treating followers to a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their wedding through adorable photos.
In one shot, he casually posed with Ruffalo, both of them playfully holding a white umbrella.
Another black-and-white image captured him leaning against a building while Ruffalo walked towards him.
The couple started dating in 2022 and got engaged in June 2024 during a romantic getaway in Italy.
Reflecting on their early relationship, Ruffalo wrote, “Nearly two years ago, Josh stepped into my life without any expectations. It felt like we instantly found our connection in ways we never anticipated.”
She noted that saying “Yes” to his proposal was a simple and joyful response. “My best friend, my love, and forever—I’m excited to continue this journey with you,” she said.
Lucas echoed the sentiment, describing how Ruffalo had enriched his life over the last two years. “I’m very grateful and thrilled that she said ‘Yes.’ I love you, Brianna.”
Before Ruffalo, Lucas was married to Jessica Clennin Henriquez from 2012 to 2014, and they share a son, Noah, who is 13.
In 2022, Lucas shared stories about taking Noah to the set of “Yellowstone,” illustrating a bonding experience they had while filming in Montana.
He recalled how it was the scene where he knocked out a character, and Noah was there to witness it.
Over the show’s five seasons from 2018 to 2024, Lucas portrayed a younger version of Kevin Costner’s character, John Dutton, while keeping his son mostly out of the public eye.
Interestingly, Lucas shared a sweet memory of Noah’s first kiss with Uma Thurman’s daughter, Luna, while backstage at a Broadway production.
He humorously recalled how both kids seemed nervous when they discovered each other, and Noah later confirmed, “I think I just had my first kiss,” which Lucas found priceless.
