Yikes! Muay Thai Fighter Plays Outright Mr. Potato Head With Opponent’s Face

My man put his nose in my ear canal!

In a recent fight, Muay Thai fighter Shayan Heydari broke his nose, but this was no ordinary broken nose…this guy completely displaced his nose in a horrifying way.

Heydari, who faced opponent Pol Tor Tor Petrunluan in Sunday’s match, ended up getting hit in the face with an uppercut, and Petrunluan totally played a good old Mr. Potato Head game. It looked like it was.

So yeah, that was pretty egregious, guys. Take his nose, for example. His nose was dramatically misaligned. (Related: Muhammad Ali to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame)

One fan commented, “Shayan Heydari’s rhinoplasty is free.” talk sports.

Another said: “My eyes started swimming just looking at this.”

A third fan wrote: “I wish I hadn’t seen it…but I had to watch it so many times.”

clock:

very hot! Discuss ways to eliminate competition. And frankly, it makes me want to watch Muay Thai.

Well, in a way.

I was recently vacationing in Tampa and I actually had a conversation with my father-in-law about something similar to this. Clips like this are common in the world of martial arts, but like most sports, it increases my level of interest no matter what sport it is. But it’s like I said to my stepdad… how long would that interest last without a WWE-style storyline?

You can say that “pro wrestling has a script,” but it’s much more interesting when there’s some drama added to the matches.
