On NewsMax TV's “Greg Kelly Reports” broadcast on Thursday, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said you can't trust it New York Times Or with CNN, “It's very difficult to get objectivity today. And perhaps we will be reincarnated in my lifetime, or at least, on a day when we can trust these important institutions. I hope to reach it.”
While discussing NewsGuard co-founder Steven Brill, Dershowitz said: [could] Turn on the TV and say, there are people we trust now. Boy, you can't do it with Brill. You can't do it New York Times. You can't do that with CNN. Finding news objectively becomes extremely difficult. People now use media not as a way of presenting the truth, but as a way of presenting their stories, whether true or false. And the American public is sick and tired of it. ”
He continued. You might be able to trust what we thought. Objectivity is very difficult today. And perhaps, perhaps, we will reach a reliance on a day of trustworthy in my lifetime, or at least, to these important institutions. For now, what we have is a system of checks and balance. So we have everyone check on each other and it prevents tyranny. This was one of the most incredible innovations in the constitution 250 years ago. ”
