Harvard may have supported Claudine Gay, but that didn't stop her from resigning.
The now former president has previously come under fire for plagiarism, as well as his insistence that anti-Semitic hate speech is protected under free speech.
But the media has already begun reporting on her resignation, accusing conservatives of targeting plagiarism attacks, which is ridiculous.
Glenn Beck shared a mock version of Gaye's resignation letter and revealed what she wanted to say.
In a fake resignation letter read by Glenn, Gay said: Again, I had nothing to do with plagiarism in that paper. Instead, there was only a dream. A Harvard student dreams of one day living in a country where people will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. ”
The fake letter continued: “But today is not that day. Instead, I have been subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial hostility.”
The fake letter then humorously concludes with some famous quotes. You might miss it after a while. So, I'm looking at you here, boy, and Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall. ”
“It was all her original idea,” Glenn laughs.
