Oh my God!
This was truly one of the largest elk I had ever seen in my life, and it was backed by elite hunters.
If you read my blog regularly, you're well aware that I love writing about hunting. I also like to think I'm introducing some pretty crazy stuff. Now, we're dealing with a scary behemoth here, so this moose will be near the top of the list. (Related: Scary video of wolf pack attacking hunter)
In December, elite hunter Casey Brooks popped out a moose so large that his wife wondered, “Is that AI?” when I showed it to her. That's how huge this thing is! And, according to an Instagram post from his son Beau, it set a new world record.

My father, Casey Brooks, did it!” Although it may be officially recognized, he broke the world record for most Rocky Mountain elk caught with a bow, and Pope & He has the potential to steal both Young's record (449 4/8 net) and Spider Bull's all-time Boone & Crockett record. ”
