Zac Brown granted temporary restraining order against estranged wife after suing her: report

Zac Brown has reportedly been awarded a temporary restraining order after suing his estranged wife Kelly Yazdi over an Instagram post.

The 45-year-old filed a lawsuit in Georgia on Friday seeking “an emergency temporary restraining order, injunctive relief, and damages arising from several past and threatened violations” of a non-disclosure agreement signed by Yazdi. Fox News Digital has confirmed that the lawsuit has been filed.

On Saturday, Entertainment Tonight reported that Brown was granted a restraining order against Yazdi and was required to delete Instagram posts that Brown claims violated a non-disclosure agreement and damaged his reputation.

According to documents obtained by NBC, the “Keep Me in Mind” singer also said Yazdi had “made defamatory, false, deceptive, or otherwise damaging statements about him, his family, or members of the Zac Brown Band.” He sought an order prohibiting him from making such statements.

NBC said the document did not indicate which of Yazdi’s Instagram posts Brown was trying to delete from her account.

According to the complaint, Yazdi signed a non-disclosure agreement while working for the Zac Brown Band from August 2022 to February 2024.

Fox News Digital has reached out to representatives for Yazdi and Brown for comment.

In a statement, Brown told NBC: “In order to maintain the confidentiality of our personal and business lives and to protect our families from online harassment and speculation, we have taken the necessary steps to enforce our agreements.” ” he said.

In December, Brown and Yazdi announced they had separated after four months of marriage.
