Zach Wilson, Nicolette Dellanno reunite with family after engagement

Broncos quarterback Zach Wilson and his fiancée, Nicolette Delano, are back in the U.S. and spending time outdoors following their recent engagement in Italy.

The former Jets quarterback, who was traded to Denver in April, and Delano, a New Jersey native and social media influencer, were seen lounging together in chairs at what appeared to be a campsite in a photo shared by his mother, Lisa Wilson, on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

“Love you guys,” Lisa wrote, commenting in another Instagram Story that she was in Utah.

The couple, who got engaged overseas last month, are also seen smiling in another photo, with Wilson at the wheel and Delano in the passenger seat of a car.

Wilson proposed to Dell’Ano during their stay on the Amalfi Coast with a beautiful oval-cut diamond ring on a gold band.

“To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you,” Wilson wrote on Instagram at the time. “You’re not only my partner, you’re my best friend and my everything. I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nick ❤️ I love you.”

In a separate message on Instagram, Delano praised Wilson, the Jets’ No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

“Zach, you are the best thing to me,” she wrote. “I admire your strength every day and am so proud of you. I love you so much and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I love you.”

Wilson and Delano have kept their relationship private, but they first sparked dating rumors in June 2022 when they were photographed together at a Yankees game.

Wilson was traded to Denver by the Jets in April in exchange for a sixth-round pick along with a seventh-round pick, so he’s now competing with Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix, the Broncos’ 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

This comes after the Jets finish the 2023 season with a 7-10 record.

After four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the season opener against the Bills on Sept. 11, Wilson took over control of the Jets’ offense in Rodgers’ place.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge,” the BYU alum said, expressing optimism about his new start in Denver during overtime activities in May.

The Broncos open the season on Sept. 8 in Seattle against the Seahawks.
