Zachary Levi Launches New Studio Following Hollywood Experience
Last year, actor Zachary Levi stirred some attention in Hollywood with his strong stance against vaccination, showing support for figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Donald Trump.
Aware of Hollywood’s prevailing attitudes, Levi has decided to take a bold step by starting his own film studio, which has a hefty budget of $100 million. The studio, named Wyldwood Studios, is set in Austin, Texas, nestled among other creative havens including Woody Harrelson and Joe Rogan.
“I visited Hollywood and found it to be quite broken,” Levi shared during an interview with BlazeTV host Ally Beth Stucky. Reflecting on his early days in the industry, he recalled, “When I first saw how things operated behind the scenes in Hollywood 25 years ago, I thought, ‘Wow, I really have no idea how to navigate this. It feels so wrong.’
He further elaborated, “The entire value system seems upside down. The focus is more on revenue than on the actual products or the people creating them. People should be prioritized over profits.” This realization, he believes, was a calling for change.
Levi emphasized that his initiative isn’t solely about reforming the Hollywood system. “It’s not just about fixing what’s broken in Hollywood,” he continued. “It’s about ensuring everyone around the world can truly experience freedom and autonomy in their lives.”
Addressing the vaccine mandates, he stated, “On some level, we all deserve the right to choose how we live our lives. I don’t believe anyone should be coerced into taking the vaccine. Many in my industry faced that pressure, and frankly, it’s unacceptable.”
