Zayn Malik Cancels U.S. Tour Dates Due to Health Issues

Zayn Malik has called off all his upcoming concerts in the U.S. due to an undisclosed health issue.

On May 1, the 33-year-old took to Instagram Stories to announce this shift, expressing gratitude for his fans’ support during this challenging time. His tour was initially set to kick off in Philadelphia on July 19, with more shows lined up through the summer and fall, as reported by Deadline. Notably, his schedule still includes performances in the UK, Mexico, and South America.

“Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me with the album release, and more importantly, your prayers and well wishes regarding my health,” Malik expressed to his followers.

He shared, “I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world.”

The singer previously shocked fans with a hospital photo on April 17, the very day his album “Konnakol” was released.

In a more recent update, he mentioned feeling hopeful. “I’ve been at home recovering, and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before,” he wrote. “I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and will need to reduce the number of shows on the Konnakol Tour. But I want to see as many of you as I can.”

Malik also expressed eagerness for his upcoming performances, stating, “I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon.”

During his hospitalization, he thanked the dedicated hospital staff, showing appreciation for doctors and nurses who assisted him. However, he has not divulged specifics about his condition.

Fans have been rallying around him on social media, sending messages of love and hoping for his swift recovery.
