President Donald Trump will speak with Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky on Wednesday after Trump's call with Russian President Vladimir Putin was held a day ago and discussed the possibility of a ceasefire in the Russian-Ukraine war.

Zelensky said Putin's promise to stop Russia's attacks on Ukrainian energy and infrastructure after Russia struck Ukraine with 150 drones and damaged energy facilities on Tuesday night was “very conflicting with reality.”
“Today I will be in touch with President Trump,” Zelensky told Finland's President Alexander Stubb at a press conference in Helsinki. “We'll explain in detail about the next steps with him.”
But Putin accused Ukraine of targeting Russian oil facilities overnight.
“If the Russians don't attack our facilities, we definitely won't hit theirs,” Zelensky said with Stubb. Associated Press.
Additionally, Zelensky said he hopes to hear more about Trump's plans to implement a ceasefire.
Meanwhile, 47th The president is calling for a ceasefire between both sides. Russia and Ukraine are expected to trade prisoners on Wednesday. This is a new development that Zelensky claimed to be a welcome sign of the building's trust.
During his call with Trump, Putin demanded that Ukraine cannot recruit more military personnel or Reim troops during the ceasefire. Ukraine says the demand is a move to undermine Putin's country.
The Russian president also cites expanding membership to Ukraine as what NATO is a direct threat to Russia's security and what it considers as the “root cause” of its first invasion.
Zelensky also states that one of the toughest issues in future negotiations is the issue of territorial concessions.
“For us, the red line is that Ukrainians recognize temporary occupied territory as Russians. We won't go to that,” he said.
