Zelensky to Talk with Trump Following White House Call with Putin

You need to talk. That was a message conveyed on Wednesday by Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelensky, confirming that he intends to speak with President Donald Trump to hear more about his call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“Today I will be in touch with President Trump,” Zelensky told Finland's President Alexander Stubb at a press conference in Helsinki. “We'll explain in detail about the next steps with him.”

As reported by Breitbart News, Trump and Putin spoke on Tuesday to address many global issues, including the current war in Ukraine.

Trump worked on a society of truth to convey that his and Putin's conversation, which lasted more than two hours, was “very good and productive.”

AP Report Zelensky countered that by declaring Putin's agreement to stop attacking energy infrastructure, optimism is under a string of drone attacks across the country by declaring it “very conflicting with reality.”

“After talking with President Putin and President Donald Trump, Putin said he had issued an order to stop the strike against Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and then there were 150 drones overnight, targeting energy infrastructure, among other things,” Zelensky said at a press conference.

“There was a strike against transport. Unfortunately, two hospitals were attacked. Putin's words are in great conflict with reality.”

The Ukrainian leader said one of the most difficult issues in future negotiations was the issue of territorial concessions.

“For us, the red line is that Ukrainians recognize temporary occupied territory as Russians. We won't go to that,” he said.
