5 most deserving potential Super Bowl winners in the NFL playoffs

Entering the NFL Divisional Playoff Round, only eight teams remain in the running for the championship. Here are five teams in the league that deserve to win their first Super Bowl title.

They are listed below in alphabetical order.

bill's mafia

Frankly, this wonderfully wild bunch was on my list last year and will remain on my list until the Bills win the Super Bowl. We have a great fan base. but, buffalo bills's fan base is unique. Tailgate party table bashing. Watching the game shirtless. Incredible philanthropy. This is a special fan base that makes experiencing the Super Bowl parade in downtown Buffalo worthwhile. Seriously, imagine that party.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio

Fangio is a classic example of being labeled a “great coordinator, not a great head coach.” you know what? that's ok. Experience a Super Bowl-caliber offense with a top-level defensive coordinator running the show. That's just Fangio and another reason why he won. philadelphia eagles He is one of the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February. In fact, Fangio may be one of the best defensive coordinators of all time. Thus he became the club's head coach. denver broncos From 2019 to 2021. Sitting in the big chair didn't work out for Fangio, but he's back in his comfort zone and taking charge of the Eagles' defense. Fangio had success as a defensive coordinator with Carolina, Indianapolis, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago and Miami during his NFL coaching career, which began in 1986. Fangio, 66, came close to winning a Super Bowl in 2013 as Jim Harbaugh's defensive coordinator. Now, Fangio, who was named the Associated Press NFL Assistant Coach of the Year in 2018 while playing defense for the Bears, has another chance to earn the first Super Bowl ring he deserves.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff

The entire city of Detroit deserves their first Super Bowl win, and Goff represents that perfectly. Detroit loves its quarterback, and he responded with gritty, unselfish, and timely plays that made the Lions true favorites to win. Everyone knows Goff's backstory. He lost the Super Bowl to the Rams, but was dealt in a blockbuster trade for Matthew Stafford, and Stafford responded by bringing the Rams a Super Bowl in his first season with the team. It would have been understandable for Goff, who started his career in Detroit 0-8, to crumble under the pressure. But he persevered and was a big reason why the Lions are now an elite team. This is a man worthy of a ring to rival Stafford.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry

Yes, Lamar Jackson is unreal and he is having another special season, but the Ravens are different this season with the addition of Henry. He is the x-factor of this offense and makes Jackson even more dangerous. Henry and the Ravens were a perfect fit in free agency. Often, older running backs move on to new teams and fade into obscurity. But Henry is the prototypical runaway freight train with 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. After spending his first eight NFL seasons in Tennessee, the likely future Pro Football Hall of Famer deserves a chance to finally win big.

Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins

Not many people roaming the halls kansas city chiefsThey won't be wearing rings on their fingers as they prepare to become the first team in history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. But Hopkins is looking to make his first appearance in his 12-season NFL career. That was the whole idea when the Chiefs traded the wide receiver from Tennessee in October. The Chiefs' offense has been hurt by injuries and young talent, so they acquired Hopkins to make the playoffs, and Hopkins was excited about the opportunity. He has definitely contributed to the Chiefs and is expected to get a lot of chances in the postseason as he looks to join the Super Bowl party in Kansas City.
