50 Cent 'will not be attending' RNC after viral Trump rally reaction

50 Cent, who became a hot topic on social media following the assassination attempt on former President Trump, will not be attending the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, ITK has confirmed.

The “In Da Club” rapper is in Shreveport “preparing for the Humor and Harmony Festival,” scheduled for next month, a rep for 50 Cent said Monday.

Rumours that the 49-year-old performer might attend this week’s Republican National Convention circulated in the wake of a shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday that left one attendee dead, two seriously injured and the former president with a bullet lodged in his ear.

After the attack, social media users began posting images of Trump filmed to the tune of 50 Cent’s “Many Men,” a 2003 song that includes lyrics about surviving a gunfight. Many men want me dead/My eyes are bloody and I can’t see/I’m becoming what I was destined to be

50 Cent was reportedly shot nine times in 2000.

The entertainer, born Curtis Jackson, posted a doctored image of his “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” album cover on X, with Trump’s face superimposed onto his body.

“Trump got shot and now I’m trending.”50 Cent wrote:She posted it to her roughly 13 million followers on Saturday.

A rep for the music star did not respond to questions about whether 50 Cent would support Trump’s 2024 presidential bid.

During a visit to Capitol Hill last month, 50 Cent said he hadn’t yet decided who he would support in the November election. In 2020, he appeared to support Trump over current President Biden, but later said he had “never liked” 45 Cent.Number president.
