Donald Trump is gaining a lot of support for his upcoming second term.
The Pew survey found that 53% of Americans “strongly or somewhat” approve of President Donald Trump's plans for a second term.
More than half of Americans approve of President-elect Trump's plans and policies for his second term in the White House, according to a Pew Research Center poll released Friday.
The poll found that 53% of Americans at least “somewhat” or “strongly” approve of the president-elect's plans for the future. About 46 percent disproved it.
Respondents expressed confidence in how President Trump would handle the economy, foreign policy, immigration, and criminal justice, but less so when it came to abortion.
Nearly six in 10 Americans (59%) say they are “somewhat” or “very” confident that Trump will make good decisions on economic policy. About 54% said the same about criminal justice, and 53% expressed confidence in his handling of foreign policy and immigration, according to the poll.
