Three years prior to the announcement of Elsie Hewitt’s pregnancy, Pete Davidson had already expressed a desire to take on the role of a father, describing it as his “dream.” In a 2022 conversation with Kevin Hart, Davidson shared his aspirations, saying, “It’s like my dream.” He joked about how corny it might sound but emphasized how much he looks forward to dressing up a little kid.

In that interview, he conveyed his excitement about this new chapter in his life, mentioning he was actively preparing for fatherhood. At 31 years old, the “King of Staten Island” star stated he wants to improve himself so that when the moment arrives, he’ll be ready.

Davidson’s father, Scott, tragically lost his life during the 9/11 attacks when Pete was just seven. This background makes his desire to become a dad even more poignant.

On Wednesday, Hewitt, 29, shared the joyful news of their impending parenthood through her Instagram account. She posted a series of photos and videos, including a clip featuring a sonogram.

In her post, Hewitt humorously remarked, “Now everyone knows we’re having sex,” which added a light-hearted touch to the announcement. One of the pictures showed Davidson affectionately embracing her stomach.

Sources indicate that baby Davidson is expected to arrive early this winter. An insider revealed that Hewitt had attended Davidson’s stand-up show in Newark back in June, predating their official relationship announcement.

Another source mentioned, “Pete is very excited about this next chapter,” elaborating that both families are looking forward to the new addition. It seems everyone is eager about this significant milestone in their lives.
