Trump Promises to Unveil Important Information on Hillary Clinton and Russia Collaboration Allegations

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump expressed his intention to intervene in U.S. elections, suggesting that he would support Democrats as part of a newly unveiled investigation into what he called a “great conspiracy” involving the FBI.

This investigation looks into whether the FBI and intelligence agencies propagated false claims regarding Russian conspiracies, specifically misdirecting emails linked to former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Trump mentioned he would aid the cause by releasing at least two previously classified intelligence documents.

“It’s what happened in 2016, and again in 2020. It’s a disgraceful situation,” Trump stated in a news interview. “We need to fix our voting system.”

The first document referenced claims that a review of FBI operations revealed that former FBI Director James Comey overlooked evidence pointing to misconduct by Clinton. This finding comes from a report compiled by former Department of Justice inspectors.

Another document involves a report from special advisor John Durham, which indicates that Clinton approved the narrative suggesting a conspiracy between Trump and Russia back in 2016. Federal officials under Barack Obama opened an investigation, based on allegations that were later funded by the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Durham’s 2023 report suggested that these federal investigations relied on deceptive intelligence and bore political motivations.

Additionally, Trump showed support for appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. A recent DOJ note, released quietly, claimed that no “reliable evidence” was found regarding Epstein’s client list or any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Trump remarked, “They should also look into Jeffrey Epstein’s situation, because it’s another hoax the Democrats push to target Republicans.” He added that he believed evidence gathered would be trustworthy.

He also suggested that previous intelligence agencies might have tampered with records related to Epstein to shield Democrats and undermine Republicans. “You can only guess what they included in their files. It took me two years to figure everything out,” Trump said, hinting at the involvement of former FBI Directors Chris Wray and Comey in these matters.

The FBI and DOJ did not respond to inquiries from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Reports indicate that the Trump administration is split on how to handle the Epstein investigation, with some officials concerned that the DOJ is overstating its evidence regarding Epstein’s child trafficking network. “We can arrest all drug lords, but people want results in this case, and the Attorney General needs a better strategy,” one source remarked after the DOJ’s memo on Epstein.

Recently, Trump also expressed satisfaction with the FBI’s investigation into an attempted assassination against him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
