DOJ has reached out to Ghislaine Maxwell.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated: “Following the direction of Attorney General Bondi, I contacted Maxwell’s lawyer to see if she’d be open to discussing matters with our department’s prosecutor.”
Justice requires courage. For the first time, the Department of Justice has contacted Ghislaine Maxwell. In accordance with this, I reached out to her attorney. I’m looking forward to meeting her soon. No one is above the law, and there are no off-limits laws. https://t.co/3izh9vii7i

Statement from @dagtoddblanche
This Justice Department does not shy away from uncomfortable realities and does not evade the duty to seek justice based on the facts. The joint statement by the DOJ and FBI on July 6 is still accurate. Importantly, a recent thorough review of the FBI’s files in Epstein’s case shows no evidence pertaining to uncharged third parties.
Former President Trump instructed us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislaine Maxwell has information related to the perpetrators of these crimes, the FBI and DOJ are willing to hear her insights.
So, under Attorney General Bondy’s guidance, I’ve made contact with Maxwell’s attorney to discuss her willingness to speak with the prosecutor. I anticipate meeting with Maxwell soon. Until now, there hadn’t been any inquiries from the department regarding her openness to such discussions. That’s changing now.
Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 on sex trafficking charges.
A long-time associate of Epstein, Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Earlier this year, she asked the Supreme Court to review her case, while the Justice Department advocated for the court to dismiss her appeal.
