The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has stated that the United Nations can no longer assist Gaza due to theft affecting aid trucks.
In a video shared exclusively with Breitbart News, GHF spokesman Chapin Fay is seen in Gaza discussing a UN truck that, he claims, has faced issues with food corruption.
Fay criticizes the United Nations’ inefficacy and highlights how the GHF employs private security to safeguard its own trucks, managing to distribute millions of meals daily to Palestinians in Gaza.
The GHF operates independently and has received some financial backing from the Trump administration. It works in coordination with the Israeli Defence Force, which manages security outside of GHF distribution points.
Fay pointed out that misleading narratives, often perpetuated by Hamas and supported by the UN, suggest that Israeli soldiers would harm Palestinians at GHF aid locations; however, he insists that this scenario has never occurred.
According to Fay, there are violent incidents happening near GHF sites. Hamas has reportedly attacked both Palestinians seeking assistance and GHF personnel.
Israeli forces may issue warning shots at large groups of Palestinians straying from designated access routes if deemed a threat. Yet, Fay assures that no one at the GHF site has been harmed.
He recounted a recent incident where some Palestinians were injured during a crowd surge at the GHF location, attributing it to provocations by Hamas. Nevertheless, GHF has remained relatively secure and has served approximately 85 million meals since its inception in May, marking it as Gaza’s only effective aid channel.
Hamas appears to be undermining GHF, allegedly leveraging stolen UN aid to gain influence and control over the local population. Similarly, the UN may have a vested interest in seeing GHF fail.
Fay urged the UN to collaborate with GHF, rather than oppose it. He mentioned that GHF contractors are prepared to offer security and logistics support for UN and other humanitarian aid deliveries.
By standing against GHF, Fay argued, the UN is essentially advocating for reduced aid to Gaza.
