Consumer Advocacy Group Challenges Dish Network
A consumer research organization launched a campaign against Dish Network on Thursday. The initiative focuses on the company’s practices of exposing children to its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, climate efforts, and transgender issues, according to exclusive information from Breitbart News.
The campaign also draws attention to major political donations made by founder Charles Ergen to Democratic causes.
The attached alerts show a correlation between the company’s offerings and the issues it’s promoting.
As part of the effort, consumer surveys prompted over 100,000 subscribers to shed light on Dish Network’s alleged leftist activities and political contributions.
Additionally, mobile signs were placed around Federal Communications Commission (FCC) buildings during meetings on Thursday to highlight the campaign’s message.
“Dish Network is now part of a trend where TV and internet service providers are increasingly entwined with DEI and gender politics,” one spokesperson stated. “The company does not merely train their employees in diversity; they are also advancing transgender ideology among children.”
Some of the campaign’s main points include:
- Promotion of gender ideology for children
- Endorsements of materials such as the “Coming Out Handbook” by the Trevor Project.
- Offering an LGBTQ+ streaming service known as HereTV.
- Engagement in climate-related initiatives
- Collaboration with organizations to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of e-waste.
- Encouragement for employees to adopt greener practices.
Breitbart News is looking into whether the chairman is using his influence to encourage others to contribute to Democratic causes.
Ergen’s notable contributions to various Democratic candidates and organizations include:
- Significant donations to the Hillary Victory Fund, the Democratic National Committee, and the Harris Victory Fund.
- A controversial $113,000 donation to President Biden’s campaign, which coincided with the dropping of a $3.3 billion fraud lawsuit against Dish.
- His wife, Cantey Ergen, has made charitable contributions to the Colorado Children’s Hospital, totaling over $3 million since 2018. Recently, the hospital was mentioned in FBI investigations concerning alleged misconduct involving minors.
The consumer advocacy group argues that companies should face scrutiny over their actions.
“Dish has consistently backed leftist policies and figures,” remarked Hild to Breitbart. “Now that President Trump is in office, they must take responsibility for their damaging ideologies and the negative impact they have on children.”
