Masked burglar recorded crashing a stolen car into a Phoenix clothing store and escaping with high-end apparel.

Widespread video captured the moment a hooded individual crashed a stolen car into a shoe and streetwear shop in Arizona during a brazen early-morning theft on Thursday.

Surveillance footage reveals a burglar speeding into a glass door and a metal security gate at Restock Avenue in Phoenix. After the impact, he hurried out of the driver’s side, collided with a shoe display, and frantically grabbed clothes from the rack around 3:15 AM.

Wearing a hooded sweatshirt, the thief made his escape on foot but returned later to the damaged store.

“When I saw this on camera, I couldn’t believe it,” the shop owner, Chris Sotero, shared in a conversation with local news, noting how he and his staff scrambled to clear up the chaos. “I was just shocked. It’s a lot of hard work. I started this ten years ago, and it’s tough seeing this happen.”

The scene was scattered with shards of glass and other debris from the collision.

Sotero also mentioned to another outlet that the thief made off with several designer items, particularly from the more “expensive side” of the store. However, the total loss from the robbery remains unclear, as does the extent of the damage inflicted.

“I’m sure they’ve been here before,” he remarked, suspecting some prior knowledge of the store’s inventory.

The bold robbery occurred just as the business was gearing up for the bustling school shopping season, adding an unfortunate twist to the timing.

Police confirmed that the vehicle involved in the break-in had also been reported stolen, and currently, the suspect is still at large as the investigation continues.
