Nick Hogan Honors Father’s Legacy at WWE Event

Nick Hogan was visibly emotional as he paid tribute to his father, the legendary Terry “Hulk Hogan” Borea, in an iconic setting for wrestling and pop culture enthusiasts.

At the age of 35, Nick took center stage during WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The event opened with a poignant 10-bell salute to Hulk Hogan, followed by a nostalgic video that harkened back to his show on Netflix, similar to his appearance last week on Smackdown.

Hulk Hogan sadly passed away at 71 after being hospitalized in Clearwater, Florida, just last week.

Surrounded by the WWE locker room, Nick was joined by his wife, Tanary, as well as his father’s partner in the “real American beer” business and close friend, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff. This marked Nick’s first public appearance since his father’s passing.

As a video tribute played, the audience erupted into chants of “Hogan! Hogan!” while Nick struggled to hold back tears.

On Instagram, Nick Hogan shared a heartfelt tribute, referring to his father as both a “best friend” and a “hero.” He expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and stories about his father’s life, stating, “My dad is the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero.”

Reflecting on their time together, Nick wrote, “I spent a lot of time with him in recent years after returning to Florida. I cherish those memories; they are the best moments of my life. I’d do anything to have him back, but I know he’s watching over me and I’ll always remember his lessons and advice.”

Hulk Hogan, a cornerstone of wrestling’s golden era, became a household name alongside Vince McMahon in the 1980s. His shift to a villainous persona and the creation of the NWO in WCW in the mid-90s sparked the iconic “Monday Night War,” elevating pro wrestling to new heights in pop culture.

It’s worth noting that Hulk’s daughter, Brooke, has faced estrangement from him in recent years.
