Levis recently gave his followers a glimpse of the shoulder pain he experienced before undergoing surgery during the offseason.
On Monday, the Titans’ quarterback, now in his third year and already sidelined for the 2025 season, posted an image of his injured shoulder just before the procedure.
“With this Lil Guy last night,” he captioned the post, zooming in on the troubling area.
In the photo, the protruding bones in his shoulder made him question how he managed to throw a football for the past few months.
Chosen 33rd overall in the 2023 draft, Revis is approaching his third season in the NFL.
Despite showing promise during practices, he struggled during games, leading the Titans to a 5-16 record as a starter, lacking the consistency needed last season.
Levis faced injuries early in the previous season, raising the question of whether they impacted his performance.
His choice to have surgery, which ends his season, allows first pick Come Ward to step into the starting quarterback position for the Titans, a role he feels confident in, regardless of Levis’ health.
While it’s unclear what threat Levis could pose to Ward’s position, general manager Mike Borgonzi mentioned earlier this offseason that the aim was to “play in the room.”
Levis had a decent rookie year with eight touchdown passes and four interceptions, but in his second year, he was intensely focused, throwing 13 touchdowns against 12 interceptions.
Now, with surgery scheduled for July 29th, Levis will shift his attention to the 2026 season, possibly seeking a new team.
