Donald Trump Is Difficult to Respect

Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett from Texas recently expressed strong disdain for President Trump, labeling him as “terrible.”

“Donald Trump is terrible, OK? We all know that. Yes – yes, he is.”

Yet, Crockett noted that in a functioning democracy, Trump wouldn’t be able to evade accountability, though it’s unclear what she meant by “this.”

“But he managed to escape because of collusion among House Republicans. Senate Republicans are also complicit, allowing him to evade this, but more importantly, he claimed that the Supreme Court is particularly an accomplice.”

“I think we really need to start recognizing that we are in the midst of a significant issue. They are the top courts in the nation, and there are absolutely no ethical safeguards,” she stated.

“Now consider the lower courts. How credible are they when they know they are receiving money? We have a documented path, yet they refuse to impose restrictions on themselves. It’s time we implement some for them,” she added.

This isn’t the first occasion Crockett has made headlines with her remarks about Trump and the Republican Party. Earlier this March, Texas Democrats labeled Trump as “an aspiring dictator” and mentioned that violence stemmed from his rhetoric, beginning with an emotional video urging the public to disregard his speeches.

Other controversies surrounding Crockett include her outspoken comments about a Christian lawmaker seeking to reform the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), alleging it is “designed to combat food insecurity.” There’s more to it.
