Brooke Hogan Considers Legal Action Over Alleged Lies About Her
Brooke Hogan, the only daughter of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, has threatened legal action against her late father’s representatives, claiming they are spreading falsehoods about her. In a recent appearance on TMZ Live, she expressed her frustrations regarding the misinformation that has been circulating.
“The people associated with that camp keep repeating these lies,” Brooke stated. “If they want to continue, they better hire a good lawyer because I’m ready to fight back. I’m done with this absurdity. I’ve had enough, and we shouldn’t be playing these games.” It seems her patience has worn thin.
Brooke continued, stating, “It’s absurd that it’s come to this level. My father is finally at peace. Let him rest, let me be. This constant attack needs to stop.”
At 37, Brooke emphasized that she is not looking to profit from her father’s demise. “I know my family’s dynamics well,” she remarked, “and I’ve witnessed how some relatives chase money and stoke conflicts over it.”
She was clear that she has never depended on Hulk for financial support. “My husband and I both work. I haven’t received any money from my dad since I turned 18,” she explained. “Everyone else relied on him, but that support is gone now.”
Reflecting on her family’s struggles, she pondered, “Am I just an emotional punching bag for them? Or are they uneasy about what I know? It’s honestly pathetic.” Brooke underscored the closeness she felt with her father, stating, “We shared so much. I forgave a lot and stood by him through thick and thin.”
Brooke rejected rumors about returning any gifts from her father or having sought forgiveness before his passing. “We had many conversations where he expressed his regrets,” she shared, “but nothing specifically.” She added, “We always treated each other with respect and kindness.”
During this tumultuous time, Brooke opted not to attend her father’s funeral in Florida. Instead, she chose a more intimate way to honor him, spending quality time on a beach with her husband Stephen Olexi and their six-month-old twins, Oliver and Molly. “My father disliked the idea of funerals,” she explained via Instagram.
She mentioned feeling grateful for all the tributes held in his memory but also felt it was vital to honor him in a way that felt authentic to her. “I really wanted to do it the way I felt was right,” she concluded.
Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 from a heart attack at the age of 71.
