Fox Corp plans to launch FOX One, a comprehensive streaming service.

Fox Corp Launches New Streaming Platform

Fox Corp is entering the competitive streaming space with a new consumer platform that integrates all its media brands into a single app.

Dubbed Fox One, the service targets users who haven’t yet adopted cable or cut the cord altogether. It will be available starting August 21.

According to Fox Corp, which is affiliated with News Corp., the subscription costs $19.99 per month or $199.99 for an annual fee.

Fox One aims to be a comprehensive hub for popular Fox News Channel programs and sports, featuring live broadcasts of shows like “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy.”

Lachlan Murdoch, the executive chairman and CEO of Fox Corp., has highlighted the cutting-edge technology behind this streaming service. “The Fox One user interface is very innovative,” he shared during a recent earnings call.

He emphasized that it offers a highly personalized experience by utilizing advanced technologies to deliver something distinct in the market.

This launch coincides with ESPN’s release of its own streaming platform.

Pete Distad, who previously worked on Apple TV+ and Venu Sports, is spearheading the development of Fox One.

“We want to launch Fox One shortly, bringing all our top news, sports, and entertainment content to viewers in one spot,” he expressed in a statement.

He added that by consolidating the vast array of Fox content into one service, they are providing significant value that appeals to both potential cord-cutters and those not served by traditional pay TV.

Subscribers will also gain access to on-demand programming from Fox Business Network, Fox Weather, Fox Deportes, and more, in addition to national primetime shows and local Fox stations.

For sports fans, Fox One offers a robust lineup, including NFC games featuring teams like the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, Major League Baseball playoffs, and college football. Fans can also look forward to events like the Belmont Stakes and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The service will also add content from the Big Ten Network in conjunction with Fox Sports Networks FS1 and FS2.

All shows available through Fox One will continue to be broadcast on traditional cable and satellite TV.

Existing cable and satellite subscribers can access Fox One at no extra charge, provided they already pay for their Fox channels through their current providers.

This new streaming service offers an alternative for viewers seeking Fox programming without the high costs associated with traditional cable packages.

For those wanting more diverse Fox content, there is also a bundle option that includes both Fox One and Fox Nation, priced at $24.99 a month, or $19.99 per month with an annual subscription.
