Lebanese Immigrant Faces Deportation Over Visa Issues

A Lebanese immigrant, who runs several Trump-themed restaurants in Houston, Texas, may be expelled from the U.S. for allegedly misrepresenting the value of his visa, as stated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Roland Beanie, 28, known for his “Trump Burger” restaurant, is expected to leave the country by early February 2024. He arrived in 2019, according to reports.

However, he has been accused of overstaying his visa, and a spokesperson from ICE indicated that he lacks any immigration benefits that could protect him from arrest and deportation.

On May 16, Beanie was arrested and subsequently became involved in an immigration lawsuit. A judge granted bond on June 13 while the case is in progress.

His hamburger chain opened four locations in 2020. Interestingly, the restaurant has also filed a lawsuit against its Kema, Texas, landlord, claiming wrongful eviction, while the landlord, Archie Patterson, has countered with claims of unpaid debts against Beanie.

The report included a statement from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which mentioned that officials rescinded Beanie’s immigration status petition. Relatives had suggested that his marriage was fraudulent, aimed at manipulating the system.

DHS emphasized its zero-tolerance stance on immigration fraud, asserting that Beanie has no green card, a dubious marriage history, and a record of culpable assault. They are pursuing all legal avenues to address the issue of immigration law abuse.

This news coincides with a broader effort by the Trump administration to clamp down on illegal immigration throughout the U.S.

In a statement regarding Beanie’s situation, officials confirmed that he has no protective immigration benefits and described him as an illegal alien who overstayed his visitor visa. ICE officers arrested him in May 2025, and he is now involved in an ongoing immigration lawsuit.

Under the current administration, ICE aims to uphold the integrity of the immigration system by addressing individuals who enter unlawfully or exceed their authorized stay. This policy holds true regardless of the type of business one operates or their political beliefs.

In January, Beanie expressed his support for Trump, calling him a “peace-making gentleman” and mentioning that he believes Trump played a role in fostering reconciliation between Lebanon and Israel before taking office.
