Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are in the spotlight as they await the arrival of their baby.
Recently, Hewitt shared a cozy moment between the couple on her Instagram story. In the photo, the shirtless comedian closed his eyes while giving Hewitt a kiss during their day by the pool.
Hewitt, dressed in a bikini, seemed to be lounging in a cabana while snapping a selfie.
Hewitt, 29, announced the couple’s pregnancy on July 16. Davidson, 31, expressed his excitement about becoming a father during an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He mentioned, “If anyone knows me, I’m very excited because it’s my dream to be a dad. Elsie is excited too; we’re looking forward to seeing her become a mom.”
He added, “Everything else is not important anymore,” perhaps reflecting the new priorities in his life.
Reports indicated that Hewitt is quite different from Davidson’s past relationships. An insider noted that she respects his need for privacy.
According to sources, Davidson’s family, including his mother and sister, have shown their support for the relationship, saying they are happy to see him with someone who brings him joy.
The couple made a public appearance at the “Pickup” premiere in Los Angeles last month, where they shared a kiss on the red carpet.
Hewitt recently showcased her growing baby bump at the event, wearing a stylish black dress. Davidson has consistently praised her, sharing that she will be “a great mom.” Reflecting on his own childhood, he noted that he lost his father, a firefighter, during the 9/11 attacks when he was just seven years old.
“I’m just excited and want to be the kind of dad I hope to be,” he mentioned during an interview.
