Taylor Swift has expressed her appreciation for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who ventured into space two years ago.
On his podcast, “New Heights,” which aired on Wednesday, the pop icon shared her thoughts, particularly after feeling a bit let down that the Star Chiefs hadn’t made it to her 2023 ERAS tour concert.
“Travis decided to turn it into his personal dating app two years back,” Swift mentioned during his debut on the podcast.
Kelce had previously reflected on “New Heights,” noting that he regretted missing the chance to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number during one of the tour stops in Kansas City back in July 2023.
“I felt a bit bummed that I couldn’t hand her one of the bracelets since I was disappointed she wouldn’t talk to me before or after the show. I guess I had to save her voice for the 44 songs she performed,” Kelce said.
“She wasn’t seeing anyone—or at least she didn’t want to see me. But, you know, it was an incredible show,” he added, causing his brother Jason Kelce to chuckle.
Swift elaborated on the Kansas City experience from two years ago, saying, “He came with Pat [Patrick Mahomes], thinking he might know someone in the elevator who could get him to me.”
The 14-time Grammy winner concluded that “it all worked out.”
“I’m giving you credit for the ERAS tour because, if I hadn’t attended, I wouldn’t have left wanting to meet you,” Swift said. “I was pretty much captivated by who you were.”
Swift first attended a Chiefs game in September 2023, and the pair officially began dating about a month later.
Kelce made his debut during Swift’s ERAS tour in London last June.
