Naomi Watts Sends Off Her Son to College

Naomi Watts recently experienced an emotional moment as she sent her son, Sasha Schreiber, off to university in Southern California. The actress posted a heartfelt photo on social media, featuring herself and Sasha amidst a backdrop of packed bags typical for a first-year college student.

In her post, she wrote, “Already ball! [sic]” alongside a few other snapshots that included moments with both her son and her ex-partner, Liev Schreiber.

Meanwhile, Schreiber also shared his feelings in a separate post, expressing the bittersweet nature of this new chapter. He noted, “I’m starting to feel the pull. I’m going to miss my vehicle or die,” revealing his mixed emotions as he prepares to let go of his son. He added, “That being said, USC is getting one of the deepest, kindest, bravest, and most beautiful boys I’ve ever known.”

Sasha has committed to the University of Southern California to pursue acting. In an Instagram update, he introduced himself to his future classmates, saying, “Hey, I’m Sasha and I’m from New York City. I’m really excited to be starting my BFA in acting at USC.” He also mentioned his interests, which included acting, soccer, surfing, skating, cooking, and making new friends.

Reflecting on their family dynamic, Schreiber previously addressed the discussions surrounding their children’s entry into showbiz, particularly after their daughter made her modeling debut. He remarked, “If you’re a professional actor and your kids decide they want to do something in this world, do they have the choice of what you did?”
