Trump's Security in DC Is So Tight That Even Bret Baier from Fox News Was Stopped by Police

Fox News Host Receives Ticket from Police

A video circulating on social media shows Fox News host Bret Baier being issued a ticket by an officer from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

This incident follows President Donald Trump’s announcement on August 11 regarding the federal acquisition of the Greater Metropolitan Police Station in Washington, D.C. The move aims to address crime rates in the area. Baier mentioned that he was driving his wife’s car at the time.

In a tweet, he explained, “I picked up a ringing phone while driving past the officers in Georgetown. He signaled for me to pull over, which I did. The officer was very professional. I had to locate my registration card, and after receiving my ticket, I left. I had no idea there were paparazzi around.”

The video features the instrumental track “Jump Around” by House of Pain, depicting Baier being approached by the police officer as he receives the ticket.

Earlier in June, Baier had another viral moment at a Rascal Flatts concert, where the Sugarhill Gang performed. Since Trump initiated crackdowns in the area, more than 212 arrests have reportedly taken place, with a significant number connected to violent incidents in D.C.
