RFK Jr. reveals the reason behind his strange workout clothes — but his explanation causes more confusion.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. explained his choice of wearing jeans while exercising after a video featuring his unusual athletic gear went viral.

In a conversation on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime,” he shared that his outfit choices stem from long-standing habits. “I started this a while back because I usually go hiking in the mornings and then head directly to the gym, and I found it practical,” he said.

Known for his love of the outdoors, Kennedy raised some eyebrows recently when he shared a photo with his son, taken in the hot Arizona desert, where he sported a sweaty t-shirt and blue jeans atop Camelback Mountain near Phoenix.

This week, attention returned to his unexpected workout attire after he posted a clip with Defense Secretary Pete Hegses, who is behind the “Pete and Bobby Challenge,” a pull-up and push-up competition.

In the video, Kennedy can be seen exercising in his familiar blue jeans and a t-shirt, held up by a belt. However, his preference for jeans during workouts sparked more questions and discussions online.

One user on X questioned, “Is it really hygienic to wear jeans, especially those you hike in?” while another bluntly asked, “Why do you wear jeans on your hike?”

Some comments were less favorable, with one person joking, “Hiking in jeans is devilish.”

On the flip side, there were voices in favor of jeans, arguing they might be ideal for hiking. A supporter commented, “The city guy wasn’t close to cacti, let alone spiders and rattlesnakes.”

Another added that in places like Colorado, wearing jeans for hiking or similar activities isn’t uncommon at all.
