Trump’s Unique Gift Room at the White House
In Washington, D.C., there’s quite a buzz about President Trump’s “four more years” hat featured in a photo with Ukraine’s President Voldy Mee Zelensky. This photo shines a light on one of the lesser-known changes made in the White House.
What was once a private study has now transformed into a product room, reminiscent of the past when it was associated with President Bill Clinton’s affairs. It seems like a treasure trove waiting for Trump’s devoted supporters and other leaders to explore.
According to a source, “Some people leave with bags of things,” hinting at the abundance of souvenirs available.
The room is stocked with popular items, like high-top sneakers from Trump’s “Never Sullision” collection, which debuted last year for $399, as well as other products available starting at $330 from Nyman Marcus. It’s said that Trump enjoys being generous with visitors, as one guest recalled.
After signing a peace deal with Armenia on August 8, Trump encouraged Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, saying, “Now, grab what you want to do. That’s fine.” The room serves various purposes—celebrating Trump’s hosting strengths while also leaving positive impressions for branding and hospitality executives. It discreetly marks the end of an Oval Office meeting, turning farewells into memorable experiences.
While there were similar rooms during Trump’s first term, this upgraded version offers an even wider array of items. Past visitors have noted organized shelves filled with photo books, candles, golf balls, travel mugs, cuff links, small dishes, and even a signed Bible.
Interestingly, the West Wingroom, which is rumored to have been a resting place for former President Joe Biden, features a special box of M&M’s signed by CEOs from both political parties. Guests typically receive a paper bag adorned with the president’s signature, along with some mementos.
On a recent visit, Trump presented Zelensky and other European leaders with the iconic keys of the White House, which were showcased in a wooden box. Since resuming office in January, Trump has made significant modifications to the White House landscape, including lavish upgrades in the Oval Office and the cabinet room, a new flagpole on the lawn, and plans for transforming the East Wing into a ballroom.
Trump’s recent interactions with Aliyev, where he presented a scarf for the president’s wife, demonstrated the practical diplomatic use of this small gift room. Trump even made sure that a uniquely designed “White House Key” was included in Aliyev’s bag.
During their conversation, Trump made a light-hearted comment about his popularity, indicating how he seems to be more supported than ever, saying, “I’m 28 points higher than anyone else. Everyone wants me to run.” Aliyev humorously chimed in, “Including us!”
In addition to the various new items, there are also familiar hats like the red “Make America Great” one. French President Emmanuel Macron joined Zelensky, proudly holding a recently gifted “Key to the White House,” displayed prominently on the Oval Office desk. Although it remains unclear what Zelensky chose to take with him, he left after affirming support from Trump and Europe for a “security guarantee” against future Russian threats if peace is secured.
