Trump Questions COVID Vaccine Efficacy
This past weekend, former President Donald Trump shifted away from his typical support for COVID vaccines, openly questioning pharmaceutical companies in a social media post.
“It’s crucial for drug companies to explain the effectiveness of their various COVID treatments. Some believe it’s a miracle that has saved countless lives, while others see things differently,” he stated.
He mentioned receiving information from Pfizer and similar companies, noting that although the data is impressive, it doesn’t appear to be shared widely with the public. “Why is that?” he asked.
Trump expressed a desire for transparency, urging that this information be presented to both the CDC and the general public to alleviate any confusion surrounding the vaccines. “If the performance is as ‘great’ as people claim, shouldn’t we know more about it?” he added.
Dr. Robert Malone, a leading voice in the vaccination discussion since the onset of the pandemic, offered his perspective, stating, “Public health has faced unique challenges and has been questioned within the vaccine sector.” He is set to appear on Liz Wheeler’s show to discuss Trump’s statements.
Malone emphasized that the primary concern should not just be about vaccination rates. “There’s a prevailing culture surrounding vaccines, which some might call a ‘Cabal.’ The truth is, vaccines are just another form of medicine,” he remarked. He further pointed out that flu vaccines have less than 50% efficacy and sometimes drop to lower levels.
Despite this, he claimed that many experts refuse to acknowledge the reality of these statistics. “They believe their resolve is infallible, and any questioning is off-limits,” he asserted.
