Team Trump’s Social Media Surge in August

The @TeamTrump social media account, managed by X Strategies under CEO Alex Bruesewitz, gained 1.6 million new followers in August. This figure exceeded the official Democrat accounts on TikTok and Instagram, which collectively have an astounding number of views—around 160 trillion.

According to exclusive data analyzed by Breitbart News, this success was marked by a lead of approximately 98 million views on TikTok and around 64.7 million views on Instagram reels for the Team Trump accounts.

In August alone, TikTok’s @TeamTrump amassed 171 million views, more than doubling the 73 million views earned by the official Democrats account. On TikTok, Team Trump also picked up 414,000 new followers throughout the month.

Interestingly, the Democrats used the Shellac X strategy while posting about half as many times as Team Trump. They published 84 posts compared to @TeamTrump’s 48 during the month.

The numbers on Instagram paint an even tougher picture for the Democrats. For every three views gained by @TeamTrump, the Democrats received just one. Team Trump’s 97.9 million reel views nearly tripled the 33.2 million views generated by @TheDemocrats.

During that month, @TeamTrump gained 807,689 new followers on Instagram and saw its Facebook followers increase by 427,618, culminating in 53.5 million views across the platform.

In a response to Breitbart News, Bruesewitz asserted that @TeamTrump would continue to outperform the Democrats. He noted that while Politico recently highlighted Newsom and his social media team’s growth of 250,000 followers in a month, Team Trump achieved over 1.6 million new followers in just August alone. “Trump is leading the charge,” he remarked.

The August data echoes a trend observed over several months, where Bruesewitz and his team have consistently outperformed the official Democrat accounts on both Instagram and TikTok. Back in June, for instance, their strategy pulled in about 200,000 more views than the Democrats on these platforms.
