Leavitt clarifies the truth about Trump's supposed birthday letter related to Epstein

Democrats Claim Evidence Against Trump with Epstein Connection

Democrats on the Observation Committee are convinced they’ve found significant evidence: a letter, described as a “birthday book,” from former President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. The White House, however, has strongly refuted these allegations, branding them as “fake news” attacks.

Ranking member Robert Garcia (D-Calif) stated that the memo “does not exist,” implying, once again, that Trump is misleading the public.

Garcia and other members of the committee shared a note which they claim Trump wrote to Epstein, referring to him as a “friend.” The note amusingly featured a sketch suggesting the outline of a woman’s body and read like a hypothetical conversation between Trump and Epstein.

In the note, Trump said, “We have something in common, Jeffrey,” followed by a sentiment about his “amazing friends” and a birthday wish that every day could be filled with “great secrets.”

At first glance, the note appeared to bear Trump’s signature.

The White House was contacted for comments.

“Trump mentions the ‘great secrets’ shared. What’s he actually hiding? We’ll unveil the documents!” the Democrats added.

Garcia highlighted that they have received more documents from Epstein’s estate and soon plan to disclose further details. He accused the Trump administration of “concealment.”

Initially, the Wall Street Journal published excerpts from a questionable letter back in July.

Following the report’s release, Vice President JD Vance dismissed the allegations as “complete trash,” criticizing the Journal for making it public.

“Where’s this letter? Are we really surprised they’ll never show it to us before publishing?” Vance exclaimed.

“Are they ignoring journalistic ethics by releasing this letter without showing it to the alleged victims?” he questioned, adding doubt over the authenticity of claims against Trump.

Trump himself denied ever writing the letter or creating any drawing. “That’s not me. It’s a fake story from the Wall Street Journal,” he stated in a news outlet interview.

He made clear, “These aren’t my words or my way of speaking. I don’t sketch, either.” In further comments made on social media, he insisted that the accusations are unfounded.

The White House directed Blaze News to press secretary Caroline Leavitt’s remarks on the matter, asserting, “The latest from the Wall Street Journal shows the whole ‘birthday card’ narrative is false. It’s evident Trump did not create that drawing nor did he sign it. His legal team will actively pursue lawsuits.”

Leavitt accused the reporter of emailing for a comment “right when the story was published,” leaving no time for a response.

“This is merely fake news designed to sustain the Democrats’ Epstein narrative!” Leavitt added.
