Florida’s Democratic Congressional candidate, Noah Wydann, has rolled out advertisements and a website aimed at criticizing Rep. Corey Mills (R-FLA) over allegations of harassment stemming from his former girlfriend.
The advertisements, which feature news reports highlighting claims from Lindsay Langston—a Florida Republican State Commission official—accuse Mills of harassment. Interestingly, the ads also reference accusations of domestic assault from another former girlfriend, as well as a potential campaign finance violation.
“Noah Wydann is positioned to defeat him for Congress and restore honest representation to Central Florida,” the campaign asserts, tagging Mills as “the most corrupt Congress member in America.”
Alongside the advertisements, Wydann’s campaign has launched a dedicated website that emphasizes the allegations against Mills in the House of Representatives.
In July, Langston reportedly told the Columbia County sheriff’s office that she might release an explicit video following the end of their relationship in February. This month, the allegations became public. Mills responded to these claims, stating they are “false and misrepresent the nature of my interactions.”
Langston, who began dating Mills in 2021, ended the relationship earlier this year after news surfaced about a police investigation regarding a physical altercation involving Mills and another woman in Washington, D.C. Both Mills and the alleged victim later stated that no such altercation occurred. The Washington Metropolitan Police Department has since completed its investigation into the incident.
A court recently denied Langston’s request for an immediate restraining order against Mills, but the judge has scheduled a hearing later this month for both parties to further discuss the case.
Wydann is campaigning for the 7th Congressional District, which covers northern central Florida. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is focusing on various districts as next year’s midterms approach, though winning here could be challenging for Democrats. The district is rated R+5 by the Cook Political Report.
